My latest project is the completion of designs for The Big Hoot 2022. There will be 40 giant owls placed around the town of Ipswich from May to August 2022. I have created two design ideas, which I hope fit the brief.

The first is  Arthur Owl Ransome. Artur Ransome live around the Orwell Estuary during the late 1930s. He regularly sailed his boat the Nancy Blackett out of Pin Mill. As a master childrens' storyteller, he set two of his 'Swallows and Amazons' Series at and around Pin Mill and the Shotley Peninsula. The area remains just as unspolit today.

The second design is Picassowl: Homage to Ubu, which uses the style of Picasso to create a very abstract version of the Owl sculpture. Picasso had a pet owl called Ubu, which was rescued by his friend. The Owl became a muse for his many ceramic works and also featured in several paintings during the 1940s.
